Our customer is one of the largest players in the car market internationally.
The company develops and produces very innovative products for all the OEMs worldwide, has around 30.000 employees and is present in more than 25 countries.
 At this moment, we are searching for a Quality Project Manager for its technical center in Sindelfingen, Germany.
The Quality Engineer will be part of the Quality Department and will be managing development projects for Daimler.

  • Responsible for customer interfacing on quality issues for the assigned projects
  • Responsible for supplier interfacing on quality issues for the assigned projects including APQP / PPAP.
  • Responsible for sample submissions for new product or engineering changes.
  • Maintaining control plans, PFMEAs inspection and gage instructions and other assigned quality plan documentation
  • Lead problem solving activities for internal and external concerns relating to assigned responsibilities.
  • Maintain Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) documentation for assigned programs
  • Develop, implement and maintain data collection and metric systems to ensure effectiveness of quality systems.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through appropriate channels and verify implementation.
  • Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected.
  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Management at the automotive industry
  • Experience in APQP on new products in automotive industry.
  • Knowledge from Quality tools like PPAP, MSA, Control Planning, FMEA, SPC, etc
  •  Demonstrate competency in metrology, blueprint reading, statistical techniques and color/appearance measurement.
  • Travel availability
  • High level in German and English is mandatory, Spanish is a plus
  • Availability to relocate to Germany, Stuttgart Area
